New Life's Women In the Church (WIC) exists to encourage the women of New Life to think biblically and live covenantally. The purpose of WIC is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world. The framework of the WIC organization provides an opportunity for each woman to discern and exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church. The goal is that this purpose will become a reality as women are given opportunities to respond to the Gospel and to pray, study the Scriptures, fellowship and serve the Lord together. WIC recognizes that all ministries and activities of the church are under the authority and guidance of the Session.
Current Ministries & Events
Titus II Ministry: Our WIC has a vibrant Titus II ministry in which all women are encouraged to participate. Each group meets once a month for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Each January the groups are reorganized, a new study is chosen, and we begin to learn more about God and about each other all over again. This year there are three Titus II groups that are studying the book of Hosea - one group meets the 3rd Monday night each month and the other two groups meet the 3rd Tuesday night of each month. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, please contact our Titus II MInistry Coordinator (listed below).
Women's Fellowship: Ladies from New Life typically meet for our monthly Women's Fellowship on the last Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at a local restaurant for a great time of fun and fellowship. Check out our calendar and come to our next gathering!
Mother & Daughter Tea: Every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day, we gather to celebrate the mothers and daughters in our lives at our annual Mother & Daugther Tea. You can see pictures of 2009's Tea here. This year we the Tea will be May 8 at 11 a.m.
WIC Christmas DInner: Every year on a Friday evening in early December, we gather to celebrate Christmas with good food and good fellowship. Please take a look at our calendar to learn more about this year's dinner. We invite you to come and celebrate with us!
